22/07/2010 Pilgrimage, Festival Zwart 2010
After 12 sold out performances, we look back with satisfaction!
At the end of every show we had some time to ask the visitors how they had experienced the route. Really great to receive so much positivity about our work.

08/06/2010 Invitation Pilgrimage
We participate in the ArtFestival Zwart 2010 in Zwolle! Zwart 2010 will take place at June 25, 26 and 27. We work under the master Daphne van Dijk with Erik Franssen, Marko de Kok, Jan Paul de Bondt and Rudy Simon on a pilgrimage through the cellars of the Dominican monastery. The location is really great and for over a month our workspace! We are really looking forward to it.

02/06/10 Re: Nachtbrakers
The exhibition has already past and now it's time to take a moment of rest.
It was cool, crowded and surprising. We've talked to a lot of people about our work and received nice comments. The theme of this year was "List en bedrog" (Ruse and Deceit). Our exhibition was about the "Dream Beauty" which is often displayed in the media. Not everything is what it seems. You can find more about this project under WORK.
Since a couple of months you can follow us on Facebook. On this page we will post some shorter updates and different stages of projects. Add us: "MMmade Fanatiker".

15/05/10 Exhibition Nachtbrakers Festival
MMmade will be present again at the Nachtbrakers Festival during Kulting Harderwijk. We are currently working on our installation which will be inspirated by this years theme "List en Bedrog" (Ruse and Deceit). Check the website for more information about the festival: www.undergroundharderwijk.nl

05/03/10 New Posters! Order-Disorder
A new series of posters is ready! The posters are about the space between order and disorder. They can be ordered now in our SHOP!
We also added some new projects. Including artwork for Casper Adrien, a singersongwriter from Utrecht.

03/12/09 SHOP Bracelets
Sparking flashes! Breathing life! You can order the handmade bracelets since today! To give everyone a better impression of the bracelet we have created an animation! The bracelets are completely manufactured by us, from cutting and drawing to ramming the pushbuttons.
At this moment we are still working on a new serie of posters, coming soon!

31/10/09 Workshop Blockprint
MMmade has given a blockprint workshop at the Petrachurch in Harderwijk. In the workshop we gave the task to experiment with pressing letters and shapes in 5 stages. In each stage we added a new element. We did this to let the participants get used to the materials and to creating compositions. Eventually the participants pressed their favorite composition on a piece of textile.

27/07/09 Updated!
Our website is renovated and up to date! The system behind our new website is built with Indexhibit. A web application used to build and maintain an archetypal, invisible website format that combines text, image, movie and sound.
We've uploaded new work and added new examples of the existing projects.
We're working on some nice projects on this moment, will be online very soon!
The new articles for the shop are on our "To Do-list". Off we go!
05/06/09 Wow it was!
Pffieuw, what a day! After short nights and some setbacks we finished everything on time for our exhibition. It was awesome, great comments about our work and we photographed 150 visitors in our "Photo Booth".
The posters we made for this projects are now available to buy in our online SHOP. You can find some examples from the "Photobooth" under WORK. The visitor is not only looking at the work the visitor is part of the work. This creates interaction and a deeper experience. A valuable and interesting way to exhibit. The free pictures are circulating across the social networks like Hyves and Facebook. We will think about this concept again and do this better! Thanks everyone!
04/06/09 Support Plakkies
On 27th of march 2009, we worked for 8 hours in The Hague (in Hangar36) for "Plakkies". The challenge was to create a campagne for "Plakkies". What will be the face of the product and how to show the heart of it? It was a usefull evening with great strategy, brainstorms, free ideas and technical information.
Plakkies is a project of the TU Delft in collaboration with KidsRights. Two students got the assignment to find a solution for a poor area in South Africa where 70% of the people are unemployed and 30% infected with AIDS. What came out? A factory that uses dumped tires to create soles of slippers, this creates structural employment! The patterns on the slippers are made by orphans from the slums of Durban. The design of the slipper is made by the known Dutch shoe designer Jan Jansen. 'Plakkies" are now sold in many stores in the Netherlands and they are growing fast! Warm part of this concept; the organization is non-profit!
It's so good to see this 2 students working so hard for such a great project, chapeau! Good that we devoted our heart and energy for this project!

14/05/09 Invitation for exhibition
We must work pretty hard now because of our exhibition on the 30th of may, where we will show new posters and a installation. We will split a big container in 2 parts through a wall and a curtain, so it will look like a photo booth. One part of the container will be used for the exhibit of our posters which are inspirated on different stages of love. The other part of the container will be used for a romantic 3D world where we can make a photograph of the visitor. To achieve the appropriate atmosphere and humor the visitor can choose elements to put on his/her face such as a mustache on a stick. We will take a picture of this setting and finish this photograph with some graphic elements. This photo will be mailed for free to the visitor. The visitor is totally integrated in the atmosphere.
This day is a part of "Kulting". You can find us at the "Nachtbrakers" festival on the boulevard of Harderwijk.

10/03/09 Berlin Creates
End of september 2008, stored our stuff and off we go to Berlin to live there for 2,5 month! We went to Berlin because it's the city where we could drown in inspiration. Also because we had the plan to set up a new designstudio. This was the perfect opportunity!
Through a friend of us we got a very nice apartment in Friedrichshain on the Weidenweg. With a balcony on the 4th floor we could overlook the towers of Frankfurtertor and the lovely sky.
What we have seen in Berlin was almost absurd, so much openminded people, art, music and spaces. Scenario: One evening we walked outside the door and heard music, it didn't cost that much time to find the fancy exhibition by our neighbours, a old supermarket building. We said hai, drunk some, talked with the people and went further with our plan. This common scenario's really keep the city vibrant.
We also had to work, we did that on various places, like the Sanatorium 23. Here again, suddenly a group of people rushed in and out for a photoshoot. To work in that atmosphere with that vibration and energy, wow! One of our favourite things where the brainstorm evenings in the city where MMmade is born from, evenings where Berlin really felt as the energetic metropolis.
The people are warm and open and happily we met a lot of them at various meetings such as the Xing Berlin met Thomas Lob , InfoCamp van Jan Jursa and Thomas Kueber. One of the parts of our Berlin plan was to get new projects to have a good excuse to visit the city again when we're back in the Netherlands.
Charged and inspirated we returned and start MMmade.org. The time in Berlin was very wide and broadening. We are thinking back and feeling the energy of the city.
16/02/09 MMmade is LIVE!
The moment is here, now! After a long time of thinking and designing, our new studio is ready!
And perhaps the biggest news, Marcin and Milou are now working together!
In the academy period of Milou Marcin steered the designstudio "heer Jakub". Regularly we had to rush so we helped each other. Sometimes Marcin helped Milou with schoolworks and sometimes Milou helped Marcin with the studio projects. The cooperation always went additional and we complement each other in different ways so we thought that it will be a good idea to work together. Here we are, our vision, plans, larger portfolio and more brain.
Our SHOP will be filled with some experiments and wearable objects. We'd like to hold this abstract, just keep an eye on our new blog, so you can see what we do, what we think and what concerns us, inside and outside this new studio.

Marcin is ontwerper die eigenaar is geweest van heer Jakub, een ontwerpbureau welke 2 jaar bestaan heeft. Milou is in juni 2008 afgestudeerd aan het CABK (ArtEZ), kunstacademie Zwolle, in de richting Grafisch Ontwerpen. Ze heeft in haar academietijd stage gelopen bij reclamebureau Nieuw in Amsterdam. Sinds januari 2009 zijn wij samen gaan werken in onze nieuwe studio MMmade. Wij vinden het erg interessant en houden ervan om na te denken over nieuwe kansen en mogelijkheden op plekken waar dat nodig is.
Grafisch Ontwerp, Art Direction, Concepten, Strategie, Identiteit, Merken, Ideeen, Ruimte, Toekomst. De kern van onze ontwerpen / concepten is de combinatie van emotie, sfeer en communicatie.
Ons werk wordt met passie gemaakt en zo duurzaam mogelijk. Wij proberen bedachtzaam om te gaan met duurzaamheid in o.a. materiaal gebruik en de duurzaamheid van het ontwerp ansich.
Wij willen tegenwicht geven aan de platte reclame boodschappen, misleiding en het grijze straatbeeld. Deze onderdelen zorgen ervoor dat een ontwerp meer waarde maakt. Verbeelding met ziel.
